BZZReport:Popped Rice Crisps

For those who don't know, I am a BzzAgent and I get to try products complimentary for review and testing purposes from BzzAgent.com.  The following products were sent to me for free. #GotItFree

I got a new BzzCampaign invite recently and it was for Popped Rice Crisps snacks. I received 5 bags to try. 3 Sour Cream & Onion, 2 Cheddar Cheese, and 1 Caramel Corn flavor.   Prior to joining this BzzCampaign, I had not purchased or tried this product.  I had tried another brand of rice crisps from a company called Hippie Chips before and really enjoyed those.  I was really anxious to try these Quaker rice crisps to see if there was any comparison!

After popping the first bag opened, I was impressed with the first bite.  As a busy mom of 3, I found these to be the perfect snack for my family. It's a great substitute for some of our unhealthy snack cravings... (talking to you husband.. with your chocolates!!)

Caramel Corn Flavor.  Check out that texture!!  This snack was delicious! Heavier than the other two flavors, but was the only one that was sweet and had caramel glaze baked into it.

Cheddar Cheese Flavor. So much finger-lickin' good cheese coated these! Favorite of my daughters. They really made this easy for me! hahaha

Lastly, Sour Cream and Onion flavored crisps. These were very light, fluffy and so flavorful. This was a family favorite as well.

None of these Quaker Rice Crisp snacks left an unpleasant aftertaste, or tasted like cardboard.. which you usually see in Gluten-Free foods.  These were just awesome. I highly recommend these to anybody looking for a quick snack. I don't however recommend eating a whole bag in one sitting like I did, because... stomach ache.. that's why.   ;)

Anyways, I cannot do a side-by-side comparison of Quaker vs Hippie Chips, but honestly they're both so good, Gluten-Free, and their flavors are vastly different. They both have my seal of approval!  If you have never tried rice crisps before, give em a go!

You can purchase Quaker Rice Crisps on Amazon or directly from the Quaker Store. You can also find them in some stores like Wal-Mart and they have several other flavors I didn't get to sample for this blog such as: Chocolate, Kettle Corn, Apple Cinnamon, Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper, and Creamy Ranch.  These retail right now for $1.83 on Amazon.

Happy & healthy snacking.
