I really like the L'Oreal RevitaLift Volume Filler Regime.
These products are amazing. They feel luxurious. The packaging is beautiful. The products are very high quality and you know a product is good when you see results!
My skin gets exposed to many different types of skin care/beauty products since I review and test many, but after trying this product for a few weeks, I can honestly say that I see a difference in my skin. My skin looks better than it has ever looked.
I use the serum and eye cream first on a freshly washed face and then use the appropriate moisturizer. My favorite product from the line has to be the night cream because it is very thick and when I wake up, my skin always feels incredibly and noticeably smoother.  Also the Concentrated Serum came in a very unique syringe type packaging called an airless dose dispenser pump. I liked the idea but felt like the "precise amount" of product was too little at a time. I needed more! Anyways, I really enjoyed trying out these products!
Thanks Influenster!

These products are all packaged in nice white boxes with gold trim. They look luxurious and fancy!
First thing you notice upon opening is the color and fragrance. Valentia skin care products are bright yellow/orange in color and smell like orange creamsicles! It's fantastic. Don't worry though, if you aren't a fan of the scent, it isn't overpowering. It's one of my favorite things about these products though.

The texture of the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask was like very silky pudding. It isn't a peel off mask. It stays on your skin like gel and doesn't dry. You can leave it on for 15-30 minutes per directions, but I don't see any reason not to leave it on as long as you want.  It won't dry out your skin at all. It has no greasy feel either. Simply silky and smooth. It was fun to put on my face too! After about 30 seconds I felt a pleasant tingling sensation, that lasted until I washed the mask off 30 minutes later.  Immediately afterwards I noticed my skin looking incredibly fresher. Natural glow! I really like this product!  My face is so soft right now. (See photos below!)

The True Glow Eye Cream is as good as any other eye cream I have used, if not better just for the fragrance! My dark circles are no longer visible after 1 single use. That's a pro!

I have become absolutely addicted to skin creams. I'm nearing my 30s and I'm finding how important skincare is and how much using the right combination of products can greatly improve your skins tone, level of hydration and appearance.  Using the Valentia True Glow Eye Cream with the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask definitely made my skin brighter.  I also used the Even Glow Serum (see my review HERE:) as well.

Review: Valentia Skin Care Even Glow Serum

Ladies, Winter skin getting you down? Then you need to try this fantastic Even Glow Serum by Valentia that contains 20% Vitamin C.   If you aren't familiar with Vitamin C serums, there is no better time to get acquainted.  This serum is packed full of organic ingredients that help your skin naturally radiate.

Even Glow Serum
Vitamin C 20%

-Antioxidant treatment
to brighten, protect and even skin tone
reducing the appearance of aging

1.18 fl oz 35 ml
Retails for $30

I love serums. This one is better than most that I have tried and I have an obsession with serums, so I have tried many.
The packaging is very nice. Comes in a classy white box with fancy gold trim. You can definitely tell the product feels luxurious. The serum comes in a dark bottle with a dropper. Upon opening you notice immediate the fruity fragrance. Smells very similar to fresh oranges, or orange creamsicle. Those familiar with the latter know how good. So delicious. I find myself wanting to use it often. Every time I wash my face, morning and night, I use this. It works well under makeup too.  Works best with other Valentia products.
This serum is very creamy and goes on more like a lotion, rather than an oily, watery liquid like some serums do. This is one of the things I loved the most. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling smooth. No tingling feeling afterwards.
So does this product work?
Yes! After 2 weeks I have personally noticed brighter, and calmer skin.  I have acne scars, and by using this daily, I have noticed my scars fading away, as well as my skin feeling naturally tighter and smoother.
This serum makes your skin tone more even by brightening it up naturally. Vitamin C increases collagen which makes your skin more elastic. This serum contains no parabens or alcohol so it is safe for all skin types.

Ingredients Include:

Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Methlsulfonylmethane (MSM), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Globularia Cordifolia Callus Culture Extract (plant stem cells), Organic Rosa Canina (Rosehip Seed Oil), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Citrus Paradisi (Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil), Carbomer, (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic Acid, d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Algae Extract, Camelia Oleifera (Japanese Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn Oil), Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin

Book Review: 21 Seconds To Change Your World By Dr. Mark Rutland

:21 Seconds To Change Your World
Finding God's Healing and Abundance Through Prayer
By Dr. Mark Rutland

Christian Living/Prayer
Retails for $14.99

When Dr. Mark Rutland couldn't find the words to pray, he turned to the Lord's Prayer. Through it he reconnected with God and found comfort, hope and healing. In this book he reveals how your soul can be renewed in the 21 seconds it takes to pray these words of Jesus.

Prior to reading this book, I was already very familiar with The Lord's Prayer, but not at all Psalm 23. I had heard it read by my Pastor at my Grandparent's funerals but never really understood it.   The Lord's Prayer was one of the very first prayers I learned as a child and it has stuck with me my whole life. I recite it often, but not as often as I should, and I've realized I have been guilty of mindlessly praying it without really breaking it down to understand what it is I was praying.  That's where this book comes in handy!

In this book, Dr. Mark Rutland explains how remarkable the historical connections between Jesus and King David were.  Ironically David wrote Psalm 23 1,000 years before Jesus was born, which is very similar to The Lord's Prayer that Jesus spoke.  When paired side by side, you can see how they flow together.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forget our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He marketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Our Father who art in heaven
The Lord is

The Lord is my shepherd
Our father

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
Lead us not into temptation

My cup runneth over
Give us this day our daily bread

For his name's sakes
Hallowed be thy name

Deliver us from evil
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil

The incredible discovery aside,  main purpose of this book is to encourage you to pray The Lord's Prayer multiple times a day, as often as possible. By saturating your life in prayer, you can change your life. You can beat depression. You can beat temptations. You can restore your life and heal with this prayer.  It only takes 21 seconds out of your day to recite it one time. These are considered to be medicines of the soul.

I found this book to be very exciting to read. I love learning new things and could sense the author's excitement too. Perfect book for those who are spiritually lost.

Book Review: Crazy Little Thing Called Marriage by Dr. Greg & Erin Smalley

Crazy Little Thing Called Marriage
12 Secrets for a Lifelong Romance
By Dr. Greg & Erin Smalley
Family & Relationships
Marriage & Long Term Relationships
Retails for $19.99

"Marriage is a battle, but it's a battle against selfishness, not your spouse."

Crazy Little Thing Called Marriage is a Focus Family book that all married couples that desire a happy marriage should read. The author and his wife, Dr. Greg and Erin Smalley share many personal experiences and professional counsel throughout, on how to have a marriage centered around true love.

There are romance secrets included and you're encouraged to reevaluate your marriage by seeking God's love with open hearts.

I thought this book was very light-hearted and fun to read. Greg and Erin's little shared experiences kept the story interesting. I feel like more than anything the tips listed are perfect for newlyweds to learn. Marriage is hard work, but not hard if you unselfishly put God and your spouse first and learn to follow the biblical outlines suggested.

This book has a unique format and each section was fairly short. I read the whole book in a couple of hours. Cover design is clean and neat.
Very appealing book.

As far as the secret to a happy marriage?
"Honoring your spouse is the key to maintaining a committed, love-filled marriage."

If you want to not only learn about painting but to enhance your appreciation of the art, specifically how it is taught at Art Students League of New York, then this is a book for you.

The Art Students League of New York is run by artists for artists. It was founded in 1875 and many famous names have attended.  This fantastic book that is broken up into 3 parts:lessons of print, illustrated contributions and interviews.  This book is packed full richly illustrated artwork from the League's archives, instructors, and students.

This book is perfect for the art enthusiast, a painter, an instructor, or even just a lover of art. I highly recommend it if not for educational use, then definitely for table top. It's too nice to be stored away. This is a large, heavy and beautiful book. It deserves table top placement.

Very colorful, and insightful book. Great for references and learning techniques.
