Be kind and compassionate to one another.-Ephesians 4:32

Princesses Abby and Emma are ready to celebrate their birthday with their friends. But where did Beth go? Can Emma convince Beth to come back to the party?

This book is a Zonderkidz I Can Read level 1 book for reading beginners.  This book was absolutely perfect for my first grader to practice reading.  The sentences were short and the words were easy to read.  The actual story was simplified and and the illustrations were cute and on par with the story.

In the story, the two princesses Abby and Emma are getting ready to have a birthday party with all of their friends. They dressed in their prettiest gowns, pinned up their hair and put on their crowns.
One friend named Beth leaves immediately after arriving and Emma chases her down. To our surprise, Beth says she felt like her dress was too plain. Emma didn't want her to miss the party, so to make Beth feel better, she took her crown off of her head and placed it on Beth's and told Beth she was beautiful. Beth told Emma that she was beautiful on the inside.

The King said, "God sees your heart. You are loving and kind."

We just learned kindness and how it comes from the inside. Sharing is caring. What a great little lesson to teach children.

What a great book for all young readers. I give it a 5/5 stars.
